- Upgrading is done with a magic spell, if it fails, only the item and gold needed for upgrading are lost, not the item, and the level is kept!
A premium Element Shard can be purchased in the ItemShop to increase the % chance of upgrading. In the item description, you can see the +% chance it gives.
In the Setup window there is an anvil icon, which you can click to open the development window. Here you will see all the items in your inventory that can be upgraded, from here you can select what you want to upgrade. If you select an item that can no longer be upgraded, a warning window will appear telling you that the item can no longer be upgraded. Next to the selected item, you will see what items you need to upgrade it, and you can also choose which spell you want to upgrade it with. A pop-up window will indicate the success or failure of the upgrade.
