Information:
Centuries ago, the Rasan family was not yet among the Great Noble Houses. The ambitious and magically talented family had grand plans. Therefore, the family's leader decided to send his talented nephew to Zorandor to continue his studies not only in magic but also among the researchers of the Dragon God. Treid'Rasan stood out among his peers from an early age. By the age of thirteen, he was a master of potions and one-word spells, often surpassing his teachers. He eagerly accepted the opportunity and prepared for the long journey with great enthusiasm. From his uncle, he received the family's old book, in which their oldest spells were written in a mysterious language. Vorodon, the dark magician of the fog mountains, was already aware of the journey through his extensive network of spies and eagerly desired the mysterious book. He gave the command to his orc horde to attack the caravan on the road leading to the foot of the mountain.

The Rasan family's caravan had no chance against the orcs, who outnumbered them tenfold. The family's soldiers valiantly defended themselves, one by one succumbing to their mortal wounds on the rocky ground. Treid'Rasan soon realized that despite his magical knowledge, he could not avoid his fate. So, he withdrew into his closed carriage and began to murmur an unheard incantation over his traveling chest - within which the family book was hidden. The spell would have returned the chest to the family, but as the last words were uttered, a spear pierced Treid'Rasan's chest through the side of the carriage. The mortally wounded child could only whisper the last words. The orc leader, tearing open the carriage door, only saw a flash and the mocking smile of the young mage with his eyes closed. Treid'Rasan died knowing that the book had not fallen into Vorodon's hands. Unfortunately, he could not know that the fading words were still capable of making the chest disappear, but the spell no longer had enough strength to return it to his family. Decades passed after the tragic ambush when wanderers, traders, and wandering warriors began to tell stories about a conspicuous chest appearing in various parts of the empire. No one was ever able to open the chest, and after a few touches, they suddenly disappeared - just as they appeared. However, the markings on the chest clearly proved that it was the lost travel chest of the Rasan family. Pyetris'Rasan, the head of the family, sent letters throughout the empire. Anyone who could pry off elements from the chest and deliver them to him would receive a great reward. The family was confident that with the right spell, they could retrieve their family heirloom.

During the event, your task is:

  • Accept the Chest Search mission from Jurden' Rasan at the teleport square.
  • Find the chest at least once during each designated period! If you touch it, the chest will reward you with a treasure-hunting item.
  • If you collect all three elements by the end of the third day, hand them over to the NPC who will give you your valuable reward!
  • Even if you only obtain one or two items, do not delay, as the NPC will surprise you with a reward for these as well.

The chest will give you the following treasure-hunting items:

  • Between Friday noon and Saturday noon: silver chest nail
  • Between Saturday noon and Sunday noon: silver corner hinge
  • Between Sunday noon and Monday noon: silver hinge

Once you obtain the treasure-hunting item for the given period, the chest will not provide another one until the next phase, corresponding to that period! The received items cannot be traded!

So, you can complete the mission if you find the chest once in each of the three periods! If you fail, you will still receive a reward for one or two chest items.

When a player finds the chest and receives the treasure-hunting item, the chest disappears and appears in another area of the map. The chest changes its location every five minutes, with a small chance of being in the same place where it was found before.

Let the great chest search begin, and adventure awaits!
